# RISE Academy

> RISE Academy is Nebraska's largest nonprofit provider of prison programming and
> reentry services. RISE works with people during incarceration and after
> release, operating inside multiple Nebraska state correctional facilities
> and supporting alumni across the Lincoln and Omaha areas.

RISE serves people who are currently or formerly incarcerated in Nebraska,
along with their families and the employers and volunteers who support them.
Programming begins inside state correctional facilities and continues after
release through mentoring, employment support, and an alumni network. RISE is
a 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, with a secondary office in Lincoln founded in 2017.

Primary service area: Nebraska, with concentrated activity in Lincoln, Omaha,
and the state correctional facilities listed at https://corrections.nebraska.gov/about/facilities.

- [In-Prison Program](https://www.seeusrise.org/in-prison-program): The RISE In-Prison Program is an intensive six-month character development and job readiness program facilitated inside the Nebraska Department of Corrections.
- [Reentry Services](https://www.seeusrise.org/rise-reentry-services): RISE Reentry Services are available to RISE In-Prison Program graduates. Using a Strengths-Based Case Management model, they empower graduates to work towards personalized goals of self-sufficiency.
- [RISE Business Academy](https://www.seeusrise.org/rise-business-academy): The RISE Business Academy is a 12-week program for developing a prosperous business in the community for those with lived experience within the criminal justice system.
