RISE’s reentry Approach
At RISE, transformation means equipping people with the mindset, skills, and support to break cycles of incarceration and build strong futures. It begins before release and continues after. Our inside/out model bridges incarceration to community, walking with individuals through every step of the reentry journey.
Inside prison, we focus on character development, leadership, employment readiness, and entrepreneurship. After release, we continue that growth through case management, job placement support, housing connections, family programming, and entrepreneurship skills.
RISE also works to transform communities by building empathy, shifting perceptions, and creating pathways to second chances.
These efforts help heal families, open doors to lifelong careers, and reduce recidivism.
RISE serves in 7 Nebraska prisons:
Omaha Correctional Center (Omaha)
Nebraska State Penitentiary (Lincoln)
Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (York)
Reception and Treatment Center (Lincoln)
Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (Tecumseh)
