2026 Legislative Session Kicked Off

Nebraska's 109th Legislature, 2nd Session, kicked off on January 7th and it has already proven to be fast and furious. This is the short session of Nebraska's legislative biennium, with only 60 legislative days to conduct the state's business.

Senators have until February 19th to determine their priority bills for this session. Each senator can select one bill for their priority and each committee can select two bills. Check out the priority bill listing.
