RISE’s Policy and Advocacy team and Legal Aid of Nebraska are hosting a community conversation on expungement and record clearing in Nebraska.

A criminal record can appear on background checks for jobs and housing long after a sentence is complete. Nebraska law offers some ways to address that, and Legal Aid of Nebraska will explain what those options are and who may qualify.

There will be time for questions. Come with your own situation in mind, or come to learn how the process works for someone you know.
