Habitat for Humanity is coming to the RISE office to explain, in plain terms, how their homeownership pathway works and who qualifies for it.

Staff from Habitat will cover three things.

• First, the Home Journey program: what the application looks like, what the sweat-equity and financial requirements are, and where a RISE participant would start.

• Second, volunteer opportunities with Habitat, including build sites and ReStore.

• Third, the legal services Habitat provides to families going through the purchase process, so you know what support comes with the program rather than what you'd have to find on your own.

Bring your questions about credit, income documentation, and record-related concerns. That's what the last stretch of the evening is for.
