RISE's In-Prison Program Coaching Days are typically held at the three-month mark of curriculum completion. RISE staff and community volunteers spend a full day inside the prison facility with program participants going over resumes, cover letters, personal statements, and business ideations. We provide lunch, lead empathy-building exercises, and facilitate speed rounds of volunteer feedback.

RISE's In-Prison Program participants are preparing for graduation and their business pitch at this point. Deep Dives are the final opportunity for participants to receive feedback from volunteers and to polish up their upcoming business pitches. This event is typically about 3 hours long and held in the late afternoon/evening inside the prison facility.

The RISE Reentry Simulation is an exercise to help RISE In-Prison Program participants begin thinking and troubleshooting the challenges and barriers faced when returning to the community after incarceration.

Online Coaching provides an opportunity for our program participants to receive in-depth feedback on resumes, personal statements, and interview skills to RISE’s In-Prison Program participants.
