HELP BREAK THE GENERATIONAL CYCLES OF INCARCERATION!

be a part of the community supporting our mission to break the generational cycles of incarceration.
April is Second Chance Month which is why we're celebrating RISE's 4th Annual Giving Day on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026.
Our community will come together for a day dedicated to making “Coming Home” possible for the hundreds of Nebraskans returning to their communities each year. Coming home is more than a moment at the prison gate. It’s the beginning of rebuilding relationships, securing employment, finding stable housing, and rediscovering purpose.
Through in-prison programming, reentry services, family support, and advocacy, RISE works every day to ensure that when someone returns home, they are prepared and that the community is ready to receive them.
Your support on RISE Annual Giving Day helps turn hope into real opportunities. Every gift fuels the programs, advocacy, and partnerships that help people navigate life after incarceration and build a future filled with stability and belonging. On April 23rd, we invite you to stand with us and invest in second chances. We can ensure that “Coming Home” isn’t just about where someone has been, but about where they are going next.
This Second Chance Month, help us RISE together. Your support creates second chances and lasting change:
Donors like you make RISE programming accessible, holistic, and life-changing for our incarcerated neighbors like Tony and their loved ones.
Donors like you increase the support available for RISE participants as they prepare to return home.
Donors like you heal families, empower parents, and make breaking the cycle of incarceration possible.
Donors like you help people learn to advocate for themselves and others.
Donors like you create career pathways and locally owned small businesses.
Donors like you help break generational incarceration—right here in Nebraska.
