LP is originally from Gary, Indiana, and has called Lincoln, Nebraska, home for more than a decade—a community he has grown to love. Driven by a deep passion for people, he is dedicated to helping others succeed and firmly believes in the power of second chances. Perry often says that not everyone who commits a crime is a criminal, and he brings that belief into every space he serves.

With a professional background in culinary arts, Perry also owns his own seasoning line and believes strongly in the transformative power of food to connect, heal, and inspire. Outside of work, he is the proud parent of four children and enjoys spending his spare time roller skating and cooking.

McKenzie Ring has over 20 years of experience helping businesses and organizations reach maximum audiences for growth. Specializing in social responsibility, digital marketing, photography, and content creation, McKenzie uses that experience to educate the public and grow a network of volunteers, donors, employers, and support for people returning to the community after incarceration.

Specializing and trained in documentary-based work, McKenzie has been an award-winning Midwest photographer and content creator for much of her professional life. She is passionate about bridging unlikely communities and building empathy through storytelling.
