✏️ To Do:

  1. ALL guests must complete the Attendee Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement before attending.

  2. Bring your Drivers License or State ID.

  3. Confirm your attendance at the bottom of this page.

📅 LOGISTICS:

  1. Your lobby arrival time: 11:00 AM

  2. Event end time: 3:00 PM

  3. Location: Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (1107 Recharge Road, York, NE 68467)


    We know you're excited for the day…and honestly, so are we!

    One quick note: the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services has strict arrival procedures, so please do not arrive early. You may enter the facility lobby beginning at 10:55 AM. If you arrive before then, please relax in your vehicle until it's time to head in.

🚗 WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

Parking
Parking will likely be limited at this particular facility. If you cannot find a spot in the lot, please park at Recharge Lake across the street and walk over. We’re really sorry about this inconvenience!

Check In
Please check in with RISE Volunteer Manager, Caroline Nosbisch! She will gather your name/s, get you situated with a locker for your things, and have you sign the NDCS Media Release Form.

🤞 DON’T FORGET

  • Only individuals on the pre-approved RISE guest list cleared by the Nebraska Department of Corrections (NDCS) and the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women. Anyone not on the list will not be permitted entry. You are reading this because you are on the list.

  • DO NOT FORGET YOUR Driver’s License or State-issued ID! If you do not have, you will not be allowed into the facility and we'll be so sad.

˙📷 PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Photos will be taken at this event by our RISE event photographer, McKenzie! It will take about 1-2 months for the photos to be ready (she’s a busy gal!). A link will be sent to you via a text message where you will be able to access and download the photos at your leisure. When you arrive to the facility, you will be required to sign an NDCS media release form.

  • Unfortunately, per the facility, you are only allowed to take photos with your approved loved one.

Nebraska Department of Corrections Dress Code Rules:

Pants:
• NO Leggings or spandex/stretch pants.
• NO jumpsuits/jumpers/one-piece style outfits.
• Pants CANNOT have holes or tears on them, even if that's what's in style.
• Please be cautious to wear skinny jeans or pants - skew more towards loose-legged pants.
• Pants must have back pockets.
• NO shorts.
• NO skirts unless you have specific religious approval through NDCS.
• NO hats unless you have specific religious approval through NDCS.
• NO watches.

Shirts:
NO hoodies or hoods on jackets/sweaters.
• NO tank tops.
• NO V-Neck tops.
• NO....halter tops, tube tops, sleeveless dresses or shirts, spaghetti/string tied tops, backless tops, muscle shirts, tank tops, half shirts, crop tops, or other clothing revealing bare shoulders, a bare midriff or any part of the breast, chest or back.
• NO see-through clothing.
NO underwire bras.
• You must wear undergarments.
• You CANNOT combine both khaki-colored pants and a shirt at the same time. A visitor may wear khaki pants or khaki shirt, but never at the same time.
• NO offensive logos or phrasing on any piece of clothing.

Shoes:
• Go for comfort! You will be on your feet and moving around all day.
• NO high heels.
NO sandals or open-toed shoes.
