Jeremy Bouman

Jeremy Bouman is a visionary and innovative leader in the prison reform and reentry space. He has dedicated his life to the successful transition of people returning home from incarceration and making lasting changes to the criminal legal system. His personal mission is the RISE mission; to break generational cycles of incarceration.

Jeremy has 22 years of leadership experience in higher education and non-profit organizations in New York City, Baltimore and Omaha.  Prior to founding RISE, he served for 7 years as Associate Vice President of Development at Creighton University. He earned a BA in Communications from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania and a Masters of Science in Leadership from Creighton University.

Jeremy serves on the Nebraska Coordinated Reentry Initiative steering committee and is a member of Rotary International. He is also a certified Gallup Strengths Coach and a sought after speaker on leadership, reentry services and system reform, workforce development and entrepreneurship.

McKenzie Ring

McKenzie Ring has over 20 years of experience helping businesses and organizations reach maximum audiences for growth. Specializing in social responsibility, digital marketing, photography, and content creation, McKenzie uses that experience to educate the public and grow a network of volunteers, donors, employers, and support for people returning to the community after incarceration.

Specializing and trained in documentary-based work, McKenzie has been an award-winning Midwest photographer and content creator for much of her professional life. She is passionate about bridging unlikely communities and building empathy through storytelling.
